About this piece
The Halifax range was drawn around one idea: white furniture that feels lived in rather than new. Softly profiled edges, hand applied paint and antique brass make it sit easily next to old oak and worn stone. It sits on a base cabinet or against a wall in the kitchen or dining room, where the open top carries glassware and the closed base takes the rest.

The wood comes from managed plantations, is kiln dried before it is worked, and the paint is built up in layers rather than sprayed on in one pass. It is the slower route, and it is the reason the finish lasts.

Solid timber works with the seasons, so small variations in dimension and grain are normal.
