Country House, Hamont
What we did
A country house in Hamont, finished from the shell inwards by a single team.
Marcotte Style carried out the works, built the joinery and then furnished the open living and dining space completely, from the linen corner sofa to the roman blinds and the lamp on the sideboard.
The approach
- Designed in house by our interior architects
- Photorealistic 3D before production
- Made to measure in our own atelier
- Delivered, installed and styled by our own team
- One point of contact from A to Z

Living room

The living side is arranged around a soapstone wood stove, with a grey corner sofa and a curved companion piece that keeps the route to the garden doors clear. A quilted boucle pouf and round oak tables sit on a long pile wool rug, and the sofa was upholstered to measure in our own atelier so the corner returns exactly against the wall behind it.

Nothing had to be adjusted on site, because the sizes and the colours were fixed before production started.
Dining room

A solid oak table on a heavy turned base anchors the dining end, with channel stitched wool armchairs and a cluster of smoked glass pendants dropped low over the top. Along the windows, linen roman blinds sit inside the reveals with pleated grey curtains in front, and slatted radiator covers with timber and stone sills close the wall below. Table, sideboard, blinds and curtains were drawn up together and made to measure, then installed and styled by our own team.

Because the whole interior was drawn up in advance, as plans and as photorealistic 3D of these actual rooms, everything lines up. The solid oak of the dining table returns in the sideboard and in the round side tables by the sofa, the wool of the dining armchairs answers the linen of the corner sofa, and the soft greys of the roman blinds and the curtains sit against the pale plaster without a single clash. Nothing had to be adjusted on site, because the sizes and the colours were fixed before production started.
The living side is arranged around a soapstone wood burning stove, with a deep rug, a rounded sofa element and a cluster of smoked glass pendants overhead. The dining side takes a solid oak table on a heavy base with wool armchairs, an oak sideboard behind it and a ceramic lamp for the evening. The window treatments are made to measure throughout, linen roman blinds under full length curtains, cut to the exact reveal.
